„Arrrrrrrrrrg!!“Trixie shouted as nothing but smoke came out of her horn for the sixteenth time. In anger, she stepped next to her mare friend who leaned over a couple of scrolls.

“You know…. Instead of studying those boring scrolls you could spend some time with your great and powerful mare friend.” Trixie paused and looked at the mess Starlight had caused. “And maaaybe help her getting even more powerful by teaching her how to …  fly?”

… After some time passed Trixie got a little impatient “Are you even LISTE-“
“I am.” Starlight interrupted and turned around so she could look her great and powerful marefriend straightly in the eyes. “Did YOU listen the last 100 times I told you that a you are just not ready for such a highly-complicated spell?”

“I did.” Trixie responded. “But all of those low-level spells you taught Trixie just do not challenge her anymore.”  
Low level. Starlight rolled her eyes and yet had to grin remembering how much trouble Trixie had when Starlight tried to teach her how to fish with just her magic. She took a deep breath and let the scrolls and books which were lying around all over her desk and the floor fly. Her smile got even bigger when she focused on her mare friend who slowly started to suspend.

“Hey!” Trixie shouted. “What are you do-“
Trixie got interrupted by Starlight gently pressing her nose against Trixies. “How about we clean up here first and after that I’ll show you something that REALLY challenges you?”



I took one afternoon off from studying so I could join s latest contest.
